Dear Mr. Editor,

It is most shameful that Mrs. Hanna Martin and the rest of the previous PLP Government, unfortunately, the senior membership of the DNA and regrettably some uncaring members of the FNM totally ignored we, the people’s, need for a working Post Office.

Now, thanks to Dr. Hubert Minnis and the generosity of, now resigned from government, Mr. Brent Symonette, we have such a Post Office.

In a shoddy attempt to score cheap political points, Davis and Hanna Martin are demanding the people need and want to see the contract signed by Government with Mr. Symonette’s Town Center Mall. In fact, Davis and Hanna Martin, we have no such need nor interest, we are just totally thankful the entity responsible for providing national and international postal services, the Bahamas Government, has, after more than 15 years, provided this urgently needed service.

Why, Mrs. Hanna Martin, could you not be bothered to do this after 10 years, 2 government terms?

Also it was shameful that Mr. Hubert Ingraham also, apparently, had little interest in giving us what we needed.

Enough with this stupidity and get on with providing us with serious governing principles.
