Jerome Fitzgerald Breached Constitutional Rights of Save The Bays

image from www.tribune242.comFined $150,000 for his "actions in acquiring, disclosing and releasing the group's internal emails were not legally justified and therefore he cannot be protected by parliamentary privilege."

Mr. Fitzgerald's behaviour (lack of decorum in Parliament) is nothing new, it's just this time his actions were pursued in Court and he was found wanting.

That old Bahamian saying, 'time longer dan rope', seems so appropriate in the circumstances.

It is curious that in The Tribune news article that the Attorney General's Office will appeal Supreme Court Judge Indra Charles ruling.

Presumably more details will be forthcoming but I can't see why his appeal should be at taxpayer expense?
