Can’t register to vote at the Main Post Office

image from 192.185.151.71Dear Sir,

It seems very strange to me that a dozen or so agents of the Voters’ Registration Department are too scared to work in the Parcel Post area of the Main Post Office on East Hill Street and thereby deny a good proportion of the populous their attempt to register to vote and yet some 100 employees at that building, not to mention the substantial number of the general public who visit on a daily basis, are required to, apparently, risk life and limb just to enter the building.

This is little short of scandalous, this is not an old building having been constructed in 1971, and would, therefore, celebrate its 45th birthday this year, one has to hope that the 45th birthday of this little nation, in 2018, will be somewhat more auspicious.

Now, where did I put my crash hat?
