Nationalised Health Insurance

image from ichef-1.bbci.co.ukAlmost every article one reads from people with reservations about the proposed government takeover of the private healthcare industry posits the suggestion that they agree with Nationalised Health Insurance.

I would suggest that people saying this really do not support a government takeover of healthcare, but think something needs to be done for the poor and indigent to receive medical services.

It is also understandable that the poor and elderly are concerned that if they do not have insurance or government provided medical services they might not enjoy the three score and ten the Bible promises.

But when we consider that “Virtually all hospitals now in deficit” in the UK in spite of all the tax dollars they receive the government needs to honestly review that they are proposing.

If time permits Please review a few of the articles at the Fraser Institute about Canada’s Health Care systems here…

Another eye opener is this series of articles incorporating an in depth review of the British system entitled “this is the NHS” here…

This subject deserves a little more serious though than you hate the poor, lest we set ourselves up for even more failure in our national health services and lose our private hospitals and clinics and more.
