With the bottom falling out of the economy, everything political and crime, the government deciding to meet with the FBI for ideas on how to tackle the latter, could be a step in the right direction. (see Tribune article here…)

Coming after 12 months of carnage (147 murders), most people are saying it's about time a different approach to the crime fight is considered.

I can't imagine the task before the Commissioner and his team, but have more tools in the figurative toolbox to fight crime can only help with the their efforts.

So here's to the Commissioner and even The Minister of National Security for stepping outside the box.
