Just got my copy of Professor Russ Roberts new book, and so far it is a real treat.
As Dr. Roberts says:
"I take the ideas in Smith's little-known masterpiece, The Theory of Moral Sentiments and apply them to the modern world—lessons for work, family, friendship, and how to live the good life."
Visit Dr. Roberts site here… and poke a round a bit. There's lots of interesting stuff there.
As an aside, check out this panel discussion with Dr. Roberts about Thomas Piketty's recent book here…
Here's what NASSIM TALEB, author of The Black Swan says about the book:
“A great book. Makes you feel better about life, humanity, and yourself. Like having a conversation and a scotch with Adam Smith, or even better, Russ Roberts."
Hope you buy the book.
