The majority of the citizens of Scotland are ringing their bells this morning. Is it possible that in a couple of months they will be wringing their hands because their Government has declared that the referendum was really just an opinion poll?

Let us hope that a referendum in Scotland, as in Quebec, actually means something and their Government will respect the wish of the people.

Can Bahamians even imagine that of our Government?
