The Beatles 100 Greatest Songs

image from beatlesblogger.files.wordpress.comIt' Sunday, and if you can't get out into the boat (like me) you might enjoy this Rolling Stone article about the top 100 Beatles songs.

When we were on holiday recently I picked the "Special Collectors Edition" Rolling Stone magazine up and it is worth holding on to.

The introduction by one of the greats, Elvis Costello, who is a huge Beatles fan, is worth the purchase price alone.

Each song has a brief summary about how it came about, who the primary writer was etc, with a host of great photos.

It is only supposed to be displayed in stores until the end of November, so I hope you can find one.

By the way, while I am a big fan of Paul McCartney's music, I'm an even bigger fan of John Lennon's. Mind you George Harrison was no slouch either, just not as prolific.
