Lawrence W. Reed: One of the brightest lights for Liberty turns 60 today

Lawrence W. ReedHappy Birthday Larry! It is a pleasure and privilege to know you.

As Mr. Reed said to me in his response to the fact that he is coincidentally born on the same day as Ludwig von Mises;

"…Not only with Mises, which is spectacular, but I also share this birth date with Lech Walesa, Admiral Horatio Nelson, Jerry Lee Lewis and Madeline Kahn!"

In typical fashion, he wants to divert attention to other people.

An incredible man of character that shares a birthday with many other fascinating people.

Enjoy your day my friend.

    Don’t forget his kindness to address the Nassau Institute.. Where else in the Caribbean can free thinking individuals be exposed to such wisdom and thinking?? To bad our elected officials don’t know enough to take advantage of such rewarding opportunities.. I guess that is the way machine politics functions in an authoritarian country..
    Happy Birthday and keep up the charge for economic freedom..

    Good point Tradewinds,
    I’ve never seen any of the political “experts” at any Nassau Institute presentations, or any other private sector presentations of note.
    Perhaps they know it all already…….
