One of The Bahamas finest passed away today.
Mr. Jerome Major had a heart attack late last week and regretfully never recovered. He was in his late 70's.
My family is very fond of the Major's since the days of Rogers Department Store when he and my mother worked together.
We all send our love to the Major's.
Mr. Major will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends known for his leadership in the community, strong family values and kindness that surpassed most. It’s a sad day…may he rest is peace and may he be remembered for all the good that he stood for.
