Who on earth, on the hotel employers’ side, agreed to add the “gratuity” into the last national agreement?
Does no-body understand what a gratuity is? Let me explain, it is a TOTALLY VOLUNTARY payment made at the discretion of the customer as a “thank you” for good services received.
What happens when the customer, for whatever reason, puts a line through that figure and refuses to pay, which he has every right to do; it is his choice and his alone to pay or not pay?
