Dear Mr. Editor,

Mrs. Glenys Hanna-Martin has been brought to task on this before, but she really must keep her mouth tightly shut on matters concerning the Bahamas Post Office, she has absolutely no right to make any disparaging remarks in this matter as her total dereliction of her duty is the sole cause of the reason we are in this mess in the first place.  She was responsible for the Post Office in her two terms as the Minister of Transport and did nothing, I repeat, nothing to alleviate the problems … actually I err there, she was in charge, when plywood boarding was installed, at the main post office building, over the post boxes, so that we, the general public, were not killed by falling masonry when clearing those boxes!

However, if you were unfortunate enough to be employed there she did not appear to give a hoot for your personal safety or your health, witness the fact that the building was also falling down inside and there was serious mold,  rat and roach infestation in that building.  Having done nothing for ten years she now has the temerity to bitch and moan that it’s taking a couple of months more than originally stated to re-locate and re-open this major utility.

Never forget, Mrs. Martin, what you couldn’t … or wouldn’t(?) do in 10 years, two government terms; Dr. Minnis and Mr. Symonette will have completed in half a term, 2 ½  years.
