I have limited knowledge of Mr. Guaido and his role, other than what I have read this weekend, but it is no surprise how many people in Venezuela have voted with their feet and left the country, nor is it any wonder that people are finally fed up with Maduro and his illegitimate government and policies and have taken to the streets in protest.

I also find it very interesting how many countries have recognised Mr. Guaido as Venezuela's interim president as at January 23, 2019. And more have done so in recent days.Guaido

It is also intriguing how Maduro expelled US diplomats and has now apparently reversed his decision. More…

It is still too early to celebrate Maduro's exit, but there is tremendous hope as the people of Venezuela deserve better than the legacy of Chavez and Maduro.
