Dear Mr. Editor,

Enough now with this stupidity over the “Spy” Bill. I do hope at least some of our parliamentarians are a bit more truthful than they appear on camera. There is no such thing as a “private” telephone call and there hasn’t been for decades, someone, somewhere is, and has been, listening to what everyone is saying! I will always remember a good friend of mine in the 1980’s who had an office overlooking the American Embassy and he would point to the roof and ask, “what do you think all those antenna are for, it is surely not to watch Mickey Mouse from Los Angeles?!”

I do have some knowledge of what I speak, having had an investment and management interest in a South Florida telecommunications company from the mid 1980’s to the early 2000’s
