Dear Mr. Editor,

Just a little something to think about; Mr. Dario Tirelli claims the 2018 Carnival was a success and cost $900,000 to put on. Could anyone explain how the first two carnivals cost well in excess of $20,000,000 to organise?

Of course, no official figures, ‘though promised, have ever been published by our Treasury, but serious and educated estimates have been made, although, to this writer’s knowledge, not even “guestimates” of the third carnival’s costs have been made.

The people need to know.
