How many others noticed the irony of the Ministry of Transport with responsibility for the Post Office, when members of the general public on clearing their boxes this past week found the annual invoice for box rental renewal? It sure as hell made me wonder. It is truly amazing that last Friday, 8th. December, 2017, I received a B.E.C. bill post-marked 20th. October, 2017 and yet spot on the 1st. December, 2017 I’m pretty sure every single post office box in this country was duly loaded with this dam’d renewal notice.

I’m sorry Minister, but this is totally unacceptable. There are many among us who say there should be no charge this year, however I’m prepared to give you the benefit of the doubt and say the renewal fee this year and every succeeding year until the new Post Office Building is operational, should be half the regular rate, and the Post Office will absorb the VAT.
