Following the recent exchange in the Senate between The Hon. Carl Bethel and Dr. the Hon. Michael Darville, when Dr. Darville advised that many Bahamians were losing their jobs in Freeport and there was a sudden influx of foreign work permit holders there.
Surely Mr. Bethel's first reaction should have been to stand and demand all the documentation Dr. Darvile held and to state he, Mr. Bethel, would instigate an immediate enquiry into the matter.
To my mind "taking the wind out of Dr. Darville's sails" so to speak.
