After 16 months Jian Ghomeshi was acquitted on four counts “of sexual assault and one count of choking by an Ontario court judge.” Read the story at CBC News here… and from the National Post here…

His lawyer, Marie Henien was subject to immense pressure for defending her client. The typical 140 word tweet from people outside the courts, were, shall we say, less than civil.

As Rex Murphy points out in the video below, “the only way Marie Henein could let women down is not to perform at her best.”
