BBC News has reported that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has banned alcohol in the State of Bihar.
The world knows how well prohibition went the United States from 1920 – 1933. Of course Bootlegging proliferated and the ban on alcohol was bad for the economy and government revenue declined. Not to mention an increase in crime.
