Mr. Alfred Gray, PLP Cabinet Minister is reported to have said that the opposition FNM should be careful complaining about the government giving a contract to a former PLP Cabinet Minister as he would reveal similar actions that the FNM undertook.
So here we have a legislator suggesting there is no need to follow the laws and regulations regarding government contracts because a former government might not have followed them.
What a travesty.
One would think if there was a hint of impropriety and MP would expose it immediately, yet, if he has been quoted accurately he's saying two wrongs make a right so his guy should get a contract through the back door as well.
An MP has an awesome responsibility to be above the law and act with a moral conscience.
Here's to hoping this is all a bad dream.
