All MP’s have a duty to take the honourable course

image from static1.1.sqspcdn.comMr. Alfred Gray, PLP Cabinet Minister is reported to have said that the opposition FNM should be careful complaining about the government giving a contract to a former PLP Cabinet Minister as he would reveal similar actions that the FNM undertook.

So here we have a legislator suggesting there is no need to follow the laws and regulations regarding government contracts because a former government might not have followed them.

What a travesty.

One would think if there was a hint of impropriety and MP would expose it immediately, yet, if he has been quoted accurately he's saying two wrongs make a right so his guy should get a contract through the back door as well.

An MP has an awesome responsibility to be above the law and act with a moral conscience.

Here's to hoping this is all a bad dream.
