This post is a result of an e-mail from a friend that had been away and was catching up on the news:

I see that the government is pushing through with the National Intelligence agency legislation so they can legalize spying on their citizens and other suspects.

In the meantime the citizens cannot get a Freedom of Information act.

And how has the Public Accounts Committee been doing in my absence? What mother-load of financial information have they been able to access in the last three years?
