Dear Sir,

I wish our news media would try and get their facts right, in particular Love97, who stated, in their 1:00pm news broadcast today, that Baha Mar fired 2000 employees a few days ago. I’m sorry but Baha Mar had nothing to do with any terminations, that action was done by the Court appointed Liquidators, who, of course, were nominated by Mr. Perry Christie and his PLP government. Therefore neither Baha Mar nor Mr. Sarkis Izmirlian had anything to do with putting a huge number of Bahamians onto the unemployed lists, the responsibility for that rests entirely on the desk of our Prime Minister.

Just trying to keep the facts straight.
