Dear Sir,

Don’t tell me that even the FNM’s are believing our Prime Minister and Minister of Finance’s fairy tales that the Very Awful Tax income will be in excess of $200 million in the first year.

From my understanding full costs of setting up and to administer this evil VAT will take at least the first two years of income before any benefit will be seen in the exchequer; don’t believe me try asking any one of the myriad of countries who have plagued their citizens with VAT, how long it takes for the costs to work through.
