Dear Sir,
I refer to a news item yesterday, (2nd. April, 2015), concerning the new electronic passports – or e-passport – when a website was mentioned, epassport.bahamas.gov.bs. Here we go again with this Government screwing up yet again. When I attempted to access this site today, 3rd. April, I met the following warning:
“There is a problem with this website’s security certificate.
The security certificate presented by this website has expired or is not yet valid.
Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server.
We recommend that you close this webpage and do not continue to this website.”
Please Minister Mitchell do try and get your act together, for those of us who do, actually, try and go by the book and not queue jump.
Hoping we can get our passports before we are scheduled to travel.
H. Armbrister
