Isn’t it a great shame that our PLP parliamentary leaders cannot be as honourable as Mr. Alex Salmond, the Scottish political leader who campaigned so vigorously for Scottish independence from the United Kingdom, but lost the battle last Thursday.
I take the liberty of quoting Associated Press:
“EDINBURGH, Scotland (AP) — Scotland's pro-independence leader Alex Salmond resigned as first minister and leader of his political party Friday, hours after Scots voted to remain in the United Kingdom.”
However, let’s see who might learn from whom; and to really rub it in, Sebas, what are the odds that Mr. Salmond might, in twelve months or so, return to his Party and say, “hold on that was only an opinion poll we are declaring independence immediately?!”
Oh, and by the way, I do believe that Mr. Hubert Alexander Ingraham resigned after losing the General Election following the defeat of his own equal rights referendum.
Just thinking out loud.
