Every time an IPCC report on climate change comes out and I start to get depressed about the planets future, I find myself gravitating to the Rational Optimist's web site… for inspiration.

Matt Ridley is an accomplished author and speaker and his optimism is based on "why things have turned out better" in recent centuries.
