Levon Helm – Song of the week – December 30, 2013 – Back To Memphis

image from static.guim.co.ukI recently picked up three of Levon Helm's CD's, Ramble at the Ryman, Electric Dirt and Dirt Farmer and I am enjoying each of them.

Of course Levon Helm is best known for his work with The Band, one of rocks iconic groups.

If you don't know either The Band or Levon Helm I'm willing to bet you'll recognise his voice in "Back to Memphis" below from his live, Rumble at the Ryman CD.

    yes! Levon Helm is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITES…. and I was thankful to be reminded of the great music he made. RIP LEVON!!!
