Couch Gladiators

image from unearthed2.files.wordpress.comDear Editor,

I refer to the article “Butler-Turner suggests PM has dislike for women” published in The Nassau Guardian October 24, 2013.

The level of debate in the House of Assembly has truly reached a new low when the topic of debate is the Prime Minister’s gladiatorial skills or lack thereof with that gentleman, in response to Mrs. Turner's remarks, going so far as to seek endorsement of his “swordsmanship” from the “swordsmen” on the opposite side of the aisle by saying “they would know better because we have met in the forum of activities before.”

Live by the sword…………………………

Yours in valor,

What more can you expect from a collection of people who are more interested in their own personalities than the country’s benefit>

Exactly, governance should be in the “National Interest” and not for the benefit of political interests and individual power.. Enlightened government should be our political goal if we are going to survive as a free country..
