"Blodwyn Pig were a British blues–rock band, founded in 1968 by guitarist–vocalist–songwriter Mick Abrahams."
From their 1969 LP Ahead Rings Out comes this ditty below, Dear Jill, and I hope you enjoy it.
Please visit Mick Abrahams web site here… and I hope you buy some of his misic and that of Blodwyn Pig.
By the way, Abrahams was Jethro Tull's guitarist on their first album.
Another one that chimes in! MA’s reworking of ‘This Was…’ is excellent, as is his live album. ‘This Was…’ is my favourite Tull album, closely followed (after MA was replaced by Martin Barre) by ‘Benefit’ and ‘Stand Up’. I’ve got all the rest, but they tend to blur into each other a bit – the 1st 3 were very fresh and original at the time. RH (older, not necessarily wiser…)
