Forty Four is one of those blues standards, but I just love Howlin' Wolf's version from his Moanin' In The Moonlight album below.

Pick up anything by Howlin' Wolf and you'll enjoy it. If you are recently into the Blues, buy The London Howlin' Wolf Sessions. Backed by Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts, it will blow you away.

By the way, if you like Forty Four, buy the Wynton Marsalis & Eric Clapton, Play The Blues CD, live form Jazz at Lincoln Center. It will get you going as well.
