Budget Transparency

I do not know how a responsible government can agree with any of its members saying that the mid-term budget practice should be stopped. Are they suggesting that we go back to the end of year exercise, when everyone is too busy to keep a close watch on what is being done in the  budget process?

Those who have an eye on leadership any time soon should put their brain in gear before they open their mouths about something that is working well and has an inherent transparency component; the public wants to know how their money is being spent.

It works for those who appropriate, spend, pocket and waste!
The failure of the system is the public acceptance of their abhorrent behavior.
At best it functions as a permanent record of Incompetence.

In the lexicon of political terms, the word transparency is one of the most abused words in the English language.. Political leaders running for office promise time and again full transparency if they are elected to office.. Then once in power, promises of transparency are invisible and void..
In the Bahamas both party leaders promised the voters government transparency with little if any forthcoming following the elections.. While running for the presidency, Obama promised the most transparent administration ever.. Yet, when elected to the office of President, transparency all but vanished.. What ever happened to these so-called promises of complete and full transparency?? Just lies and more lies void of any truth, dignity, and honesty.. VERITAS
