During the 2012 election campaign the PLP lambasted the former FNM government for issuing some 70 contracts in an effort to win the government.

Of course the PLP won the election in spite of it all and now they've suggested the former government did not issue the contracts after all.

According to Mr. Brave Davis (PLP), deputy prime minister, “There may have been one or two contracts that were entered into, but nothing was mobilized or done, and I think there was but one contract worth about $600,000 that may have been canceled.” Nassau Guardian January 5, 2013.

As time goes on the general public is learning what a high skilled distortion machine the PLP ran in the last election campaign.

It's a shame how politics cheapens us.
