The Rotary Club of East Nassau presents, a special Charity Premiere of the latest 007 adventure, SKYFALL.

    It is good that we have an establised community-service oriented culture in The Bahamas with clubs such as Kiwanis and Rotary making full and continuous contributions to the betterment of society. Therefore, any initiative to support them should be encouraged and this Blogger would not suggest otherwise.
    However, as far as the film goes, I suspect supporters should not get their expectations up but should focus on the philanthropic side of the event (which, after all, is the point of these gatherings). If they happen to be 007 ‘aficionados’, I suspect they will be severely disappointed, notwithstanding the ‘conspiracy of consensus’ which emerged in the wake of this film.
