Thanks but no thanks.. I see nothing funny or humorous in a nation that is deficit spending its way into insolvency.. Whose leadership have no idea of what they are doing to our country’s future and to its people..

An interesting indicator that perhaps we are developing a sense of humor about our own foibles.
The ability to laugh at our own folly has been largely missing from our leadership.
Still missing is the ability to apologize for or acknowledge errors made.
That would require much newsprint though.
Self determination without the attendant and necessary responsibility has been our mantra.

Thanks Disgusted but what really is missing is National Vision and leadership.. This is why our country is financially broke as our leaderless politicians can only offer “pie in the sky” promises to a population that is eager to believe just about anything.. Seldom is heard a word about reducing the utter size of government and establishing a business climate conducive to investment and private sector growth.. We are told by our so-called experts that we must increase GNP, but when GNP growth comes mainly from unproductive, government spending, there is little meaningfully economic growth as a result.. This is a classic example of miss-allocation of scarce economic resources..
Just look at the United States which is a leading failure of trying to stimulate growth through wasteful deficit spending.. The failure of Keynesian economic stimulation over the last five years has cost the United States trillions of dollars as the economy has failed to meaningful recover from recession.. Growth has given way stagflation as 24 million people are out of work and many are just giving up.. Sadly the missing ingredient, leadership, is not present.. What was once the leader of the free world today has become a leaderless state lacking the national vision that once made America great and the envy of the world..
