We were fortunate to enjoy the recent Neil Diamond concert in Ft. Lauderdale a couple weeks back, and yes he was excellent. He's in his 70's now with his voice still on the mark and a fantastic band. It was well worth seeing.
While at the concert we had the good fortune of sitting next to a fine couple from New Foundland, Canada, Jeff and Tina Kelland. Before the concert started we were chatting we found out that Mr. Kelland is a singer, songwriter, performer, who loves Neil Diamond's music.
In addition, we were discussing the Beatles and he indicated he had written a song about John Lennon right after he had been murdered, and I'm pleased to feature it as our song of the week.
