wow …simple brilliant truth…how perfectly expressed….Why does the media focus on hollywood crap instead of helping society as with publicising, this Rev. Sirico’s Poverty Cure ?
Most people are sheep and I guess the masses make a big market for money,,,so media with little or few ethics, brainwash to sell what makes money to them…The power of the media is huge, it is tragic their ethics are non existant… what brilliance could they bring to society….

One simple answer is move to America.. It is the one place in this world were they pay you to be poor.. Free health, free education, food stamps and other benefits for the mere asking.. You just have to learn how to play the system.. America is the only place where the word “illegal” does not really mean illegal..
Rev. Sirico thoughts are both virtuous and noble, but the greatest poverty throughout the world is usually found in Catholic countries of Latin America and in the Philippines.. When ever I am in Manila, I am always so saddened to see the massive poverty and children begging for food.. Yet, I am struck by the wealth of the church that could do so much more for the Filipino people.. Young children, abandoned by their parents, with no place to go but the streets is a crime against humanity.. One can only hope that the established powers of the government and church will someday address this horrible situation and the poverty that these innocent children must try to survive in..
