Lawrence W. Reed, President of the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE), wrote a wonderful little guide entitled Seven Principles of Sound Public Policy.
He also gave a speech here a couple years back for The Nassau Institute on the same subject.
However, it's "silly season" once again and it would do us all good to read it and recommend it to the election candidates.
