Bahamas Antique Auto Club to celebrate 25 years

AACB

The Antique Auto Club of The Bahamas is holding its 25th Anniversary Antique Auto Show & Cook-Out on Saturday, March 17 at Arawak Cay from Noon until 6:00 PM. (Hard to believe it has been 25 years since six of us formed this club.)

This year all proceeds are in aid of the Elizabeth Estates Children’s Home. (In keeping with previous years a Charity or organization involving children is always selected to benefit from the Show). This show is also being held in honour of Club Member, Brad Major, who passed away suddenly just last month at the age of 58.

Steak & Chicken Dinners are again being served at the still low price of $10.00. You can get your tickets from me and other Antique Auto Club members. The stub on the ticket also allows you to participate in the Show and VOTE for your favourite car.

Diecast scale model cars will be on sale at reasonable prices. There will also be several raffle prizes drawn throughout the day; Tickets only $2.00 or 3 for $5.00. A number of other added “surprise” attractions for children of all ages are being worked on.
