We saw The Moody Blues live in 1978 at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto. That was the year they released Octave and Michael Pinder did not go on tour. He was replaced by Patrick Moraz, most notable for his stint with the band Yes.
So the line up for the concert we saw was Justin Hayward, John Lodge, Ray Thomas, Graeme Egde and Patrick Moraz.
The Moody Blues are simply amazing. Their 1967 release Days Of Future Passed with the fusion of rock and classical music remains a classic to this day, 44 years later.
