Following is a spreadsheet incorporating the information regarding permits issued by the last two administrations that I found interesting.
Now if we extrapolate the numbers out for the current administration, here's what the possible totals look like for comparison purposes.
It's doubtful these numbers will end up like this because situations change, but it's useful for discussions we get into and we're guessing without any solid information.


I don’t really understand why the Bahamas don’t start a package for expat people like the Panama did or the Belize. If we look at the Panama success, those kind of package help for the economy. If the Bahamas would do a sort of package, expat will go to the Bahamas and this will help your economy since most expat are retirees or semi retires. This business is ”booming”
Also, why the Bahamas, islands, Abacco don’t try to grow their on foods, and try to start business in this field.
So say if the present administration gave a 1,000 more people citizenship between now and election day they would still have sworn in less citizens than the PLP admin during 2002-2007.
Its amazing how we rarely consider the facts in political discussions. If you listen to some of the radio talkshows you’d think swearing in new citizens is something which is new.
