Now this story… in the Nassau Guardian yesterday morning was most interesting.
And not so much from their suggested ability to become more efficient, although that's a good thing. I'm thinking more along the lines of costs.
With the country in desperate shape for revenue, this could go a long way in helping save money.
This might be a good time to start looking at other government departments, agencies and ministries to determine what can be merged or phased out.
Initially my thoughts run to the poor and flawed legislation typically passed by this administration.
In fact, most could be declared unconstitutional if we had decent courts to hear, but they are usually reluctant to hear Constitutional matters.
I wonder why.
To merge these two would require a new act to encompass all areas of their juridiction and authority.
Yikes!!
I would be very concerned about expanded powers potentially allowing increased intimidation and arbitrary action under political directive.

The perceived power of some of those folks are currently wreaking havoc for you are they not?
They will be their own undoing and do not really need my help,
but as a citizen, I am obliged to be lawful.
