The early 1970’s for me was the best musical era. One of the people leading the way was Elton John with lyricist Bernie Taupin. What a duo!
One of my favourites from the Tumbleweed Connection album (I later bought the CD) was My Father’s Gun. It’s a bit dark but the music and lyrics were incredible. At least I think so.
