Perhaps the pro-criminal rights advocates can help me with this one.
Today's Tribune reported on the three individuals who were charged in the armed robbery of a local jewelery store. I had heard from sources that a woman was sexually molested in the robbery and was quite surprised that this was reported to the press. As I understand it, more often than not, the gruesome details are often left out and hidden from the public……
It is an interesting case. You have two males and one female. One guy pleads guilty and the other pleads innocent, on the same case. What about the rape charge? Is it not a straight forward case? Where did the rape take place? Was it at the site? Is the one individual who pleaded guilty a witness to the rape?
As to the rape, I have a solution. Take the guy between Nassau and Andros, cut his you know what off and drop him overboard, never to rape again. As for the woman, who would involve herself with such inhumane individuals, drop her off at the same location with blocks around her ankles. How would she feel being violated in such a way????
Now my pro-criminal rights advocates can start beating me up……………..because after all, the criminals are always the innocent victims.
Right on Jerome.As far as I am concerned, do the same thing to the pro criminal rights people.I wonder, God forbid, if they would feel the same if it happened to their mother, their sister, their daughter ?I think not.Its easy to defend scum if its not you that it happened to, just like its easy to spend money that’s not your own.As to the dropping overboard, we have enough criminals here to feed the sharks for years to come, why not start now…..
where Tommy?? Tommy…. where you is??? I thought y’all was taking charge!! I have heard Nothing more on any of our Death Row inmates. No progress being made – and the people are crying out for justice…. Do you have the stomach for this job? Can you do what needs to be done [not whats politicalyy correct for you] ?? Or… maybe we just need to fuel up those boats and head for Andros.
Incidently… there is a large uninhabited cay [Green Cay] south of Andros; that would make a great penal colony / prison facility. Maybe China can help us put that together…
Jerome, lobbying for the swift, sure execution of legally sanctioned justice does not make one “pro criminal rights”. If we did things your way, we’d be back to the pirate days of “street justice”. We can’t have an orderly society that way.
Unfortunately Coaster, the inefficiency of the court system has forced most law abiding citizens into wanting what Jerome has suggested.
We now have criminals raping and brutalizing innocent people and the courts cannot accomodate them and they are out doing the same thing.
Like Jerome, I am fed up and either the courts do what should be done or we will be having vigilante justice.
Instead of wasting time fighting Fred Mitchell about whose picture should be on the $10 bill let’s get the beasts and scum of the country off the streets and keep them off.
Unfortunately, it is not only the Bahamas that tolerates this stupidity in the court system. There was recently a case in the US where three Navy seals went to court charged for causing some minor damage to the lip of a known terrorist. Have they all lost their minds?
@ Coaster: Do you actually think we have an orderly society now? You must be kidding me or you don’t come out of your house. We can’t even keep the drunks, druggies and foul language away from down town, much less have an effective justice system. Read the recent speach from the throne, right down the promises and mark your calender. Let me know when you see the Government start to take serious action.
Coaster is just coasting again.Just in case you need an update, our country is being destroyed by these criminal bastards.no one is saying execute innocent people,far from it.We need to execute the ones that need to be executed. You are in a very small minority if you think they should not be, very small.The courts are a failure, the police can’t handle it or don’t want to & the government, which ever one, does not seem to care, if they did, they would at least make some kind of effort.In all my born days, I have never seen the attitude so bad about doing the right thing.Stop this political correctness crap & get on with it,face the problem head on & get it done.I know at least one lady that would have been alive today if a criminal would have still been in jail where should have been instead of being turned loose. Now he just needs to be dead, period. Coaster you are out of your mind in my opinion if you think the government is going to do anything when they clearly have no intention of doing anything.Actions speak far louder that words…..
