Rick Lowe
Mr. Al Jarrett, PLP supporter and former banker was quoted in The Tribune Business of February 23, 2010 as saying that during 2002- 2007 the Christie Administration "created something he described as "responsible debt", and expanded the size of government through increased national income derived from foreign direct investment activities, as opposed to borrowing."
It's intriguing how people in different political parties see the results of the policies of their government. Somehow, it's always the other guys policies that do the damage.
But here's an interesting stat. During the 2002- 2007 PLP reign as the government, a period of unprecedented economic growth, according to the PLP, and according to the following numbers from The Bahamas Central Bank, the deficit never once got below $100 million.

As that great Rod Stewart song reminds us, every picture tells a story, don't it?
It's a pity that political allegiance makes our glasses so rose coloured.
Oh, I'm looking for the debt increase during that period as well.

They Damage pillage and destroy in so many directions at once, I don’t think anyone will ever be able to clean up after them all.
By the way Rick, the National debt clock running over on The Nassau Institute website seems to be lagging reality, according to the Mid term budget report.
I tend to agree.
It’s going to be a long climb out.
Fixed the clock! Thanks!
