What is it about young Bahamians that they saunter across the road in the face of oncoming traffic?
I'll grant that there are too few cross walks, and I'll accept that most drivers do not understand common courtesy for pedestrians, but enough is enough!
I don't think you are sexy or cute, in fact you're usually obese and your clothes are too tight. On top of that you are not the only person in the world, and frankly, I really don't care how much you "twis up ya bungy".
I'll tell you what. Go to the gym for several months and get in shape. At least work out until your clothes fit (or even buy some clothes that do fit). I would also recommend you try some flat shoes and come back to the cross walk. That way, we will enjoy the view a little more.
In the meantime, please pretend to hurry when crossing the street. Some people move their arms a little quicker to give the appearance of walking faster. Use that trick so that while we're cussing about how fat you are, we can feel sorry for you and give you a pass for at least giving the appearance of moving a little faster.
Rick I assume you had a bad experience … as we all probably have – one time or the other with a padestrian. .. assuming they have rear end bumbers and side impact mechanisms to keep them safe from on-coming traffic …. I dont think much will happen in this regard … I suggest to everyone to drive with caution for other vehicals and padestrians …. there’simply no other recourse …. especially in the midst of so much other important matters.
