For several years now, if one has been sceptical of the global warming come climate change debate, the tongue lashings have been hard and furious from supporters of the idea that governments must do something about this major problem and do it now.
All of a sudden the debate has changed, and the focus is not on climate change, but on a few scientists who seem to have cast aspersions on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change data and recommendations.
One of the best articles I've read on the scandal is by Christopher Booker at the Telegraph in the UK.
It's titled Climate change: this is the worst scientific scandal of our generation and you can read it at this link…
Other valuable links about Climategate can be found at "Watts Up With That" a blog edited by Anthony Watts by clicking here…
And as our Prime Minister and Minister of the Environment head off to Copenhagen for a high level meeting on climate change, I sincerely hope they will spend a few minutes clicking through the information found at these links.
It will be a shame if they have not considered information that some scientists have allegedly kept out of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change debate.
Also, it's not surprising that those supporters of the IPCC, have been exceptionally mum on the behaviour of the scientists involved with climategate.
Global warming is a hoax & has been all along. You can’t hear nothing from the drive by media(CNN,NBC,CBS,ABC), because they are all in on the hoax.NBC in particular, stands to gain the most from this hoax. They have staked their whole company on it.That is why they have backed Obama.Global warming is science, therefor, they have to prove it & as of yet they have not proven it at all, in fact, the earth has been cooling down if anything. This is all a matter of control & they want the control, they are commies, simple as that.
We cannot let silly things like facts get in the way of a good power grab.
Layer upon layer of fraud in every respect, and the worst thing is they believe it themselves.
Yes, mankind can have an effect on climate, but to have the arrogance to believe we are alone causing climate change?
I can see them now, asserting that they alone have the right to cause Rain-snow-drought etc.
Trading in carbon credits? Is this the new money?
Can you eat them?
Each and every flavor of the day gets more and more outlandish.
Your links appear to be a bit one-sided. Here is a short video that does a good job summing up the “controversy”.
For further reading and to offset the information gleaned from Watt’s Up With That (edited by a weatherman), I suggest the blog http://www.realclimate.org (edited by actual climate scientists).
Thanks for dropping by and responding Mr. Knowles.
In the interest of not being “a bit one-sided” I trust you posted the links to Watt’s Up With That and the Telegraph article on their sites?
