Today we celebrate my parents 60th wedding anniversary.
How often these days do we have children in their 50's celebrating the 60th anniversary of their 80 year old parents?
I thought that's what you would think!
My siblings and I are very fortunate to have parents that are healthy at this stage of their lives, and more importantly we can count them among our friends.
So here's a toast to my wonderful parents.
I have been privileged to know Wayne and Phyllis even before they were married and you were just a dream.
I can think of no two people that I have admired more than your parents and I would like to wish them both many more years of married bliss.
He may have told you that Thiry and I spoke with him this morning and I believe that their sense of humour has played a big role in their life. Your Dad said that he gave your mother a sympathy card!
Congrats to two of my favorite people !
