A Blueprint for the Future of The Bahamas

Raynard Rigby, former chairman of the PLP, has launched a new web site called The Commonwealth of The Bahamas’: Blueprint for the Future.

He says:

“This website was designed with two things in mind:”

“1. To assist in the distribution of The Blueprint, which is available as a printed booklet, or for download here on our website – Just Click Here to download the PDF Version.”

“2. To encourage collaboration between the Bahamian people, and together build a better, more robust blueprint, ever upgrading, so that we may in turn build a better, more robust Bahamas!”

The site is currently being updated so people can participate online it would appear.

This looks to be a sincere and good effort so far. Participate Bahamians, there just might be a chance of changing some of the policies our successive governments, both PLP and FNM, have burdened this wonderful little country with.

For some reason many of us believe that our politicians have the answers. What makes them any different than the rest of us?
