Congratulations are extended to the Tribune for their effort in getting the brothel removed from the Mayfair hotel which was situated a stone’s throw from a police station.  I read their report this morning with regard to the failed traffic lights and I do wish them success wih this one also. I would like to add to their list as of early this morning (by now an update should be necessary) – Village Rd/Parkgate, Bar twenty/Mackey St., Madeira/Mackey St.,Prince Charles/Village Rd., Fox Hill/Prince Charles. While out for lunch today we saw one working (where is the camera when you need it!)

When the Tribune is finished with that job. I have a few more that could keep a reporter busy:

1. The Post office, which has become a national joke. Our mail may or may not arrive or it may arrive weeks or months late. We had a patient call us on March ’08 to ask if she had an outstanding bill. The answer was no but when she was asked to check the date of the bill it was July ’07. We were not surprised.

2. Batelco – just don’t try to get them on the phone because you wil be sent on a merry-go-round of choices and when an automatic phone answers you are told that all their agents are busy.

Immigration Dept. As they plan to increase all fees perhaps they can use some of the money to hire some telephone operators. It can take sometimes two hours just to get an answer. They could sell all their desks and use some of that money because should you actually get through to an operator and you ask for someone you then get a recording  "sorry, I am not at my desk."

This should keep an investigative reporter busy for some time. Good luck!
