Bahamas National Trust – Harrold & Wilson Ponds

We visited one of the Bahamas National Trust parks, Harrold & Wilson Ponds, this past weekend, and were suitably impressed.

While the boardwalk is not very long so far (it is still being built), it is very nicely done with a few descriptive plaques etc. And the bird life was quite quite prolific for what we normally see around Nassau.

It is well worth a visit.

For some reason there are no directions on the BNT web site – Drive South on the Milo Butler Highway (off the Tonique Darling Highway) to Fire Trail Road. Turn left on Fire Trail Road and take an immediate left into the grounds.
